About the Qualification
Achievement of this qualification requires a pass in two units, CF1 and CF6. This meets the regulatory examination requirements for mortgage advisors.
Exam Structure

- 100 multiple choice questions plus
- five scenario based questions
- 70% pass-mark
- 3 hour exam
BTS Study Options
For all of the CFP exams we offer either a one or three day intensive revision workshop.
One Day Workshop
These are designed to help individuals that have already done some self-study. The day focuses on the key areas that learners struggle with and highlights areas that need further revision prior to the exam. Practice quizzes and a mock exam are used to test current levels of knowledge. As part of the day we also cover exam technique and a practice paper Each individual will take away a personal study plan.
Three Day Workshop
The three day workshops provide a broader coverage of the main
syllabus areas. Structure is provided throughout the three days
by use of an individual workbook which allows each learner to
participate during the sessions and also provides personalised
revision material. Knowledge is validated throughout the workshop
with quizzes, group and individual exercises and revision aids
