Well here we are again, starting the run up to the next R06 exam sitting in October.
We have just had the July exam results released last Friday, so this is a good time to take stock of how BTS and our R06 students fared.
What were BTS results like?
Pretty good. Luiza ran a couple of R06 two-day workshops and achieved the following results:
We’re still collating results from our other courses, but there’s a similar picture developing. For example, Jeff’s Birmingham course currently has 5 passes and 1 ‘to be advised’!
Let’s refresh your memories as to CII countrywide R06 pass-rates. The last three years results and trends are:

So, all in all we are pretty pleased with the results achieved. And all credit to our students, because BTS can train them, but ultimately it’s the students who sit the R06 exam and have to answer the questions.

The guide, whilst not based on the actual exam case studies, gives students lots of practice on exam-style questions. The guide is jam-packed with lots of techniques and tips that are invaluable in the exam itself.

BTS also provide an R06 exam analysis which can be purchased closer to the exam sitting for £65.
This contains possible questions and suggested answers, and is a great way to revise if you cannot attend a workshop.
