Attending a remote workshop can help consolidate the key knowledge required for an exam pass.
What is the BTS R05 workshop like? The workshop is designed to enhance your grasp and use of the most heavily weighted learning outcomes in the R05 syllabus. Our workshop consists of a fun-packed day led by a BTS trainer, plus the company of other candidates in the same position as you. You will spend time developing your question answering techniques and exam strategy. The CII are renowned for their ‘interesting’ use of language, so part of the road to an exam pass is getting used to this. In this 1-day workshop we will cover: LO3: Understand the role and limitations of State Benefits and state/local authority funded solutions for financial protection, LO4: Understand the range, structure and application of life assurance and pension-based policies to meet financial protection needs, and LO5: Understand the taxation treatment of life assurance and pensions-based policies. Our LO3 discussion looks at the main state benefits and any changes that have happened to them. LO4 looks at types of life policies, and factors that influence how they are set up. Under LO5, we will look at the main taxes and how they are applied.
