Are you planning to take the AF4 exam in March but feeling unsure about where to begin?
Our comprehensive course is designed to cater for all learning styles and follows the BTS’ Read-Watch-Practise approach. This structured course aims to give you the best chance of achieving success in this challenging unit.
Whilst you read through the BTS Study Guide chapters, we will provide you with five videos to further enhance your understanding. Additionally, we understand the importance of putting your knowledge into practice. Therefore, at timetabled intervals, we will host live webinars where you can practice answering different types of questions that may appear in the AF4 exam. These webinars will be recorded and available to watch up to the day of your exam.
To consolidate your learning, we have included two workshop days at the end of the course.
We believe that those who prefer a more hands-on approach will greatly benefit from and even enjoy our AF4 Coaching Support programme. You will be amazed at what you learn by being part of this cohort and ‘having a go’ at the questions. Technical areas that may come up will be covered and revised, and group discussions around possible questions and answers will help a lot.
Delivered on Zoom. Places are limited.
Four videos covering key technical areas will be uploaded to your BTS dashboard in line with the programme schedule.
Following the release of each video, five one-hour Zoom webinars will be held on 18th December, 8th January, 16th January, 30th January and 10th February, commencing at 17:00. Recordings will be made available after each event.
At the end of the course, two full day Zoom workshop dates will be held on 17th & 21st February, commencing at 09:30 sharp and finish by 16:30.
Digital materials including; slides, specimen questions and technical crib sheets will be shared with you after the workshop.

Attending a remote workshop can help consolidate the key knowledge required for an exam pass.
What is the BTS R06 workshop like? The workshop concentrates on the key technical knowledge and exam techniques that are essential for an R06 exam pass. The workshop is scheduled for the week following the release of the R06 exam case studies. BTS will have analysed the case studies prior to the workshop, and the workshop days will involve working through model questions and answers to practice key R06 exam techniques and technical knowledge. You will have the opportunity to ask and discuss questions in a group forum as well, to prepare for the R06 exam sitting as much as possible. R06 workshop dates are available for each sitting of the exam. If you can’t see a date that works for you, get in touch to ask about more options.
The workshop is ideal preparation in the lead up to your R06 exam sitting.
What makes the R06 workshop so useful?
A workshop is a live online event where you can benefit not just from the BTS trainer but also from working alongside others studying for the same exam. Discussions within the group can help to reassure you and improve your understanding of key exam areas. You’ll get out of your day as much as you put in (and more!).
Access to the R06 case study analysis e-Learning module is included in the workshop fee, so workshop attendees don’t need to purchase the e-Learning separately. Access to the R06 case study analysis for the previous exam sitting (for past paper practise) will be provided when your booking has been confirmed. The BTS analysis for your sitting will then be automatically added to your account within four days of the release of the case studies.
You’ll also be able to continue your conversations with your fellow R06 candidates in our student-led forums. Login to your BTS account and head over to the Careers Zone to access our forums.
